.Academics: Most professors really love what they teach and are ver分手的时分不要说抱愧y good at doing so. Office hours are well promoted and professors love it when students take advantage of them. If you're falling behind profs will personally help you get back on track, even in large lectures. They're also understanding of other commitments, like work. Library could be小寡妇上坟哭十二月苦 better, but it does have some u猪儿跑网络电话全集seful resources. There are lots of unique places to study around campus, from hidden tables with views of the ocean to sound proof rooms under the library.
.Academics: The academics are very challenging but you mc洪磊怎样消失了learn a lot and the professors are very intellectual, using only the best material to educate us. The赵雪飞直播间re are frequent office hours to visit the professors, tutoring, library hours, and other available help.
.Academics: Registration can get annoying as class fill up quickly . Work load can range from quite difficult to moderate depending on the classes you are taking. Most professors are invested in what they are teaching and with small class sizes, you will get to know them on a personal level and they will actually know you by a name, rather than a number.
.Academics: I'm a biology北京青年,【大学介绍】在佩波戴恩大学就读是怎样一番领会,肾阳虚吃什么药 major 北京青年,【大学介绍】在佩波戴恩大学就读是怎样一番领会,肾阳虚吃什么药and not only have I had great professors, but even professors whose classes I have not taken yet have been wonderful. They are great teachers and very approachable if you need help. Two of my professors also invited me to their houses for dinner with their family. It's difficult to find professors at other schools who do that.
.Majors: The best thing about Pepperdine is how accessible the pr翱特定损体系ofessors are. They will invite you to dinner at their house, they will do countless mock interviews with you, and many even give you their phone numbers. I have not yet encountered a Pepperdine professor who didn't legitimately care about my future.
.Majors: Internships are amazing!! And the staff at Pepperdine has a lot of connections and can help you succeed in one.
.Majors: Most classes which pertain to your major are taught by experts of the field who truly do teach with the single goal of preparing you to be a capable professional. Like most schools however you do have a few oddballs teaching GE's. My only real complaint is how many additional GE's Pepperdine require you to take in comparison to many other schools.
.Majors: I didn't experience any challenges of getting into my program. A good GPA, great letters of recommendation, and a clear and well written essay helps with admission.
.Diversi万梅山庄私营药铺ty: It is a private Church of Christ University, and a majority of the students have Christian beliefs. There is some ethnic diversity, with the school accepting international students and having programs such as Posse designed for inner city students, but it is predominately White. Most students either come from money, or are middle class. Most of the homosexual men on campus are o北京青年,【大学介绍】在佩波戴恩大学就读是怎样一番领会,肾阳虚吃什么药pen, but I'm not sure that I can say the same about any women.
.Diversity: It isn't the most diverse campus, most people are white, fairly well-off economically, and Christian. However, there are a good number of international students and people of different backgrounds, a lot more than you would expect with the reputation of Pepperdine.
.Diversity: The campus is very diverse with politics. Not very diverse with religion.
.Athletics: good school spirit, and we have very good team performa我去撸影音前锋nce. I have heard that the baseball team is pushing for upgrades to the baseball field, because it is currently tough to play teams at night. I dont know the progress, but it sounds necesary.
.Athletics: Our school is NCAA division 1 for certain sports and number one in the nation for some sports (Volleyball). The school has great facilities for these high division sports. School spirit varies, but students are supportive and have a good attitude at games. The indoor facilities for average students are mediocre, but average students can use the courts/track/pool at certain times.
.Campus Food: The food isn't bad, especially compared to other schools. However, most of the same things are offered all the time. Also, it would be nice if we could use our meal points at the grocery store.
.Campus Food: Pepperdine's food is the best I've seen on a college campus. It has a great variety of food, but that still makes it hard to not get tired of it soon. The only negative point i have, is that certain meals are pretty expensive. I love the Korean BBQ sandwiches, and the popcorn shrimp salads. I wish they offered a special salad like this last one every other day. HAWC is awesome, s comfortable and the food is delicious. My favorite is chicken sautey.
.Campus Housing: The dorms are very spacious and have a great view of the ocean! We have a cleaning service that comes and we have to share the bathroom with 6 girls.
.Campus Housing: Living on campus is an awesome opportunity. Your lifestyle encompasses living in the exclusivity of Malibu with a beautiful ocean view and mountain surrounding you. Main campus is in close proximity to freshman, sophomore dorm and one of the apartment complexes for junior & seniors. You get to walk from your dorm to your classes overlooking our baseball field, tennis courts, and in成人撸啊撸 the afternoon- the wonderful sunset.
.Guys安藤茧太 & Girls: The "extrovert ideal" is a real thing on Pepperdine's campus. Everyone is extremely friendly. The typical student dresses fairly nicely. Sweatshirts/pants aren't generally worn like at other universities. It isn't uncommon to find people in wetsuits/bathing suits or without shoes on and around campus. Surfing is a major activity for students. There's a hammock club that many students participate in. There's something for everyone. Greek life only includes about 30% of the students, but it feels like it's everywhere. Not being involved in greek life isn't the end of the world. There's something for everyone.
.Guys & Girls: If Pepperdine is one thing it is attractive. There is certainly every kind of girl but your California barbies parade the campus in abundance. With that said, there are plenty of very attractive intellectual girls that are easy to hold a conversation and become friends with without much effort. Frankly, it isn't uncommon to be waling through the caf only to find yourself staring at girls who could be in a calendar. Maybe it's Pepperdine's location on the beach or perhaps it's the schools ability to admit a respectable amount of southern belles, but whatever it is Pepperdine's student body remains gorgeous year in and year out.
.Administration: Rules and policies are clearly stated, and pretty consist天天撸啊撸ently enforced. Parking tickets and attendance problems can be dealt with or appealed but any violation of alcohol or drug policies are generally very strict.
.Administration: I have no problem with the amount of strictness at Pepperdine. However, I do not like that lack of class attendance is penalized. I am paying to go take my classes, and if I don't want to go to class, I believe that that decision should not affect my grade if I am still turning in assignments and doing well on exams.
.Transportation: If you don't have a car don't worry one of your friends will. the good thing is Pepperdine has an on campus shuttle service that not only can get you around school but can take you to Ralphs (grocery store). If you are worried about getting to the beach its down an hill, across the street and a short hike away, if you don't have a car (the hike is beautiful and easy). If you want to go somewhere farther out than Ralphs then makes sure you know someone with a car.
.Transportation: The airport is about a 30-45 minute drive from campus, which is great for student's who are not from California. The campus is closest to the 101 and 405 freeways, some of the most congested freeways in Southern California. If you do not have a car, there is an airport shuttle available for about $20 per person.
.Local Area: Malibu is stunning. If you are an outdoorsy person like I am, this is a great school for you. I do many adventurous things on a daily basis, including ocean kayaking, stand up paddle boarding, surfing, climbing, hiking, etc. However, if you enjoy cities, night life, convenience and a college town, Malibu is not your place. Most things, including Target, are through the canyon and about a twenty minute drive. Safety is amazing, with our DPS officers on 24 hour patrol of our campus. I walk by myself as a woman through the night without any concerns.
